The Department of Student Activities & Student Organizations staff serve as a resource for student leaders, programming boards and over 280 registered student organizations through advising, leadership development and organizational support services.
Whether you attend an on-campus play, participate in a community service project or plan Homecoming festivities as a member of the committee, you are helping to shape the University of Miami experience for yourself and your fellow students. For more information on clubs and organizations or ways in which you can get involved, stop by the office and speak with a member of the team or browse the full listing of student organizations below.
Why Should I Get Involved?
The Department of Student Activities and Student Organizations believes there are many benefits of student organization involvement. From learning new leadership and communication skills to exploring an academic interest through extra curricular opportunities, getting involved creates meaningful opportunities to meet new people with similar interests along with faculty and staff mentors. Students who are involved on campus learn a number of important skills.
